Update

Good news: We are nearing the date when all SOAR websites will be up and running again. This transition to a robust replacement infrastructure will keep the myPack and myTroop websites running reliably for years to come, and we thank you for your patience while we put in the hard work to make this happen.

See below for more information about the current status, next steps, and refund process.

When will our pack/troop website be back?

If all goes well, we expect to have testing completed and all Pack/Troop sites launched as early as the week of May 8.

We realize that this is the key question for everyone, and we are working nonstop to restore your sites as quickly as possible. A bit more on where we stand:

  • We have successfully brought up a working version of the SOAR infrastructure, which was a major milestone. This is suitable for development and testing, and we are now in the process of importing customer data into this system.
  • This week we will start thorough testing with a small group of customer accounts and fix any issues that arise.
  • If we run into any unexpected issues that may affect the launch date, we will notify you as soon as possible.

I want to stay with SOAR – do I need to do anything?

No!

  • Your site will be up and running again shortly, and all your saved data will be restored.
  • Additional time will be added to your renewal date to account for the recent outage.

I’ve transitioned to another solution – do I need to do anything?

If you would like a refund, please fill out this form before May 12th. The form will be active tomorrow, April 24th.

You should also take note of the following:

  • You should make sure you have a copy of your SOAR data.
  • If you have a vanity domain (e.g. www.troop123.com) you should make sure you find that account and change it accordingly. That domain was purchased outside of SOAR, and someone in the unit has control of it.
  • Make sure to check back later on the new SOAR. We hope you like what you see, and we would welcome you back as a customer.
