SOC-1 Type 2 Report Available

IMRF's SOC-1, Type 2 Report is available in Employer Access for all employers to download.

In the report, independent auditors examined and verified the adequacy of IMRF's internal controls. The document is needed by some IMRF employers for financial reporting purposes.

To retrieve the SOC-1, Type 2 Report, log in to your Employer Access account. As shown below, select the "Display Annual Documents" option under the "Documents" category.

At the new "Annual Documents" menu, the SOC-1 Type 2 Report is listed in the "2017 Release" category; click on the link to download the document.

Attend an Authorized Agent Certification Workshop

IMRF policies may change. To remain up-to-date, Authorized Agents and staff members who assist with day-to-day IMRF processes - including enrollment, wage reporting, benefit applications, and various member inquiries - are encouraged to attend an Authorized Agent Certification Workshop. The complete workshop calendar is available on IMRF's website, www.imrf.org, on the IMRF Workshops page.

Held in various locations throughout the state, each one-day training workshop provides attendees an opportunity to learn more about IMRF procedures, changes to the Illinois Pension Code, and other topics that impact member benefits. Even if you have previously participated in a workshop, attending a workshop will help you become more familiar with newly enhanced or adjusted practices that may help administer daily IMRF processes more quickly and accurately.

Interested attendees may register online for an Authorized Agent Certification Workshop using Employer Access. To register others at your employer who assist with IMRF duties, create "Web Assistant" accounts for them through Employer Access so they may self-register for a workshop, or contact IMRF using the exclusive, employer-only phone number, 1-800-728-7971, for assistance.
