Hello, Chamber Partner.
I wanted to take a few moments to let you know about some exciting changes that SOCA is making and the steps that you’ll need to take so that your Chamber of Commerce is properly positioned with us.
SOCA has made a significant investment aimed at helping Chambers of Commerce grow membership. You’ll be hearing much more about this in the coming months. In a nutshell, we have built a substantial database that we will leverage into a first-of-its-kind Chamber membership sales prospecting system.
We are pivoting from offering programs and benefits through Chambers of Commerce to offering services directly to Chambers of Commerce. Don’t get me wrong. We’ll still offer programs and benefits as we always have. Yet the support we provide to Chambers of Commerce will be more impactful by offering much-needed services.
A few months ago, we asked Chambers to volunteer to test certain aspects of our WIN4 Marketing Concept. The first round of testing is complete among the 15 Chambers who participated as our test group. The performance of the testing and the feedback we have received is positive. After seeing the impact that WIN4 can have on potential growth and engagement, the enthusiasm for WIN4 is high among the test group of Chamber Execs. We are launching a 2nd and 3rd round of testing this month.
In the months ahead, you’ll read and hear me emphasize that we are living through a Digital Transformation driven by data. The new standard is that we will digitize and automate many tasks for practical reasons. Consequently, here is what you need to do to remain a member in good standing with the Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance:
-
Renew your membership with SOCA and sign the necessary agreements by January 31, 2024. We have mailed a written letter that you will receive in the coming days with instructions on how to do this.
- In this mailing are step-by-step instructions for setting up required authentication for access to your Chamber dashboard for the first time. If you would like us to walk you through the process, we have scheduled two Zoom calls to help you:
IMPORTANT: Failure to renew membership in SOCA with sign agreements by January 31, 2024, will result in a suspension of your Chamber’s membership to the Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance. During this suspension, all your members who are participating in a SOCA program will be notified that they need to join a Chamber of Commerce in good standing with the Alliance to continue receiving the benefit of the SOCA program they are enrolled in.
Our mission is to support Chambers of Commerce. We are invested in your growth and are uniquely positioned. To the very best of our knowledge, no other organization nationwide is doing what we are positioned to do for SOCA Chambers of Commerce.
Please follow the instructions for SOCA membership renewal and Dashboard login by the deadline so that your Chamber can experience the return on investment that we have made in your growth.
