Offered here is a very nice two owner 1996 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe (993) This is the last iteration of the air cooled Porsche, thought by many to be the most desirable 911 produced. This particular 993 was initially purchased in Illinois, with the owner subsequently moving to Washington. It was sold in 2009 to a gentleman in Michigan who bought it as a present for his wife. In the eleven years that they owned it, she has driven it only 5,000 miles. The car is finished in Iris Blue with a gray leather interior. It is powered by the hallowed air cooled 3.6 liter flat six cylinder engine producing 282 horsepower, with a manually shiftable Tiptronic S four speed automatic transmission. The car will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds and has a top speed of 168 mph.
This Porsche is equipped with a power sunroof, rack and pinion power steering, front and rear anti roll bars, a power rear spoiler, power heated side view mirrors, automatic temperature controlled air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, power driver and passenger seats. leather steering wheel, 4 piston power disc cross drilled front and rear brakes, and much more. Aftermarket items include 18” BBS wheels, paint protection film on the front (which shows some crazing) and an upgraded Alpine radio.
The car is in very good condition. The service manager at Munk’s Motors (the facility that performed recent repairs), stated on the repair order “I test drove the car and it drives WONDERFULLY.” Recent service includes an oil (Mobil 1) and filter change, front brake pads and rotors, new battery, new windshield, repairing an a/c leak, replacing the two front radio speakers, repairing a faulty horn, replacing the rear deck lid struts, and repairing the driver power seat switch. With the exception of some wear on the driver seat bolster and the previously mentioned crazing on the front clear film, the exterior and interior show very well.
