“Porsche 911 Turbo: The Newest King of the Road: Good looks and a personality to boot.”

- Autoweek, Dec 17, 2000

“The new, fifth-generation 911 Turbo is not only the fastest-ever street-legal 911, it's also the most refined. Spooling up to 125 miles an hour—on the German autobahn, of course—is utterly effortless in this all-wheel-drive sports car. And the urge to push the needle deeper, to tap into its extraordinary acceleration, is very difficult to resist. … Subjectively, this 911 feels closer in character to a big-capacity motorbike than a civilized supercar that weighs 3400 pounds”.

- Car and Driver magazine

Finished in Seal Gray Metallic with a Graphite Gray interior, this 996 Turbo is well equipped. Options include seat heating and memory, the Becker Porsche CDR-220 CD-radio and CD compartment. It will accelerate from 0 – 62 mph (100 km/hr.) in 4.2 sec., with a top speed or 189 mph (quite respectable, even compared to today’s performance numbers), yet is docile and comfortable around town at normal speeds – but with gobs of torque and reserves of passing power in any gear when wanted.

Addition/improvements: welding of the Mezger engine coolant pipes (required for track days), a GT2 clutch, pressure plate and fork, new clutch master & slave cylinders with power delete; new spark plugs, oil & filter, coolant and transmission fluid replacement, and a new coolant reservoir. The above work was done by the current owner, with parts receipts included. The previous owner installed a Rennkit™ eRam Kit™ all electric rear spoiler actuation system, and provided records and receipts from 2018, included. Tires are Falken Azenis RT660 (track ready, DOT approved/street legal), 235/40 18 front, 315/30 18 rear, March, 2022, on unmarked wheels.

The car has participated in two days of Porsche Club HPDE events, at Waterford Hills Road Racing in Clarkston, MI, with no incidents. The original spare, jack & tool roll, all books are included, as is an extra set of wheels with winter tires. It has a clear Michigan title. The car’s condition is excellent, outside, inside, and mechanically. All systems function as they should, and it drives and rides as one would expect from a sound and quick 996 Turbo.
