Neighborhood Open Mic

Location: 1175 Folsom St., San Francisco
SOMA West CBD and the studio, Decentered Arts have teamed up to bring back “SOMA SINGS”.
Decentered hosts a multi-genre open mic every Tuesday and they want SOMAsapiens (& their fellow sapiens alike) to join the party and show their talent.
Details:
-Sign ups to perform are in-person. Slots are 3 mins. Music, comedy, poetry, short films, juggling, calling your ex on stage - anything goes!
-Mics, guitar, piano, dongle, kahone, and projector provided. Feel free to bring your own instrument/prop.

Casa Sofia Kitchen and Bar invites the whole community to celebrate its Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
Located just steps from Oracle Park at 701 2nd Street in San Francisco’s SoMa District, Casa Sofia is the newest concept from Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Altamirano and the Altamirano Restaurant Group. Named after his daughter, Sofia, the restaurant brings together his Peruvian heritage and a California-driven, seasonal approach, creating a vibrant, welcoming space centered on family and community.

| | On Saturday April 26th, an unforgettable evening brought together creatives, art enthusiasts, and collectors for a dynamic contemporary art exhibition curated by Angela Afifi, founder of Camp Fluff, and hosted at Little Raven Gallery. The event featured an inspiring atmosphere, complemented by music from DJ Steve and a diverse lineup of talented artists, including Andrea Traber, Damon Mahoney, Erin Askew, Helene Cote, Jennifer Carden, Karen Lopez, Michelle Castillo, Rinat Goren, Shubhra Sarkar, and Vicente Guerrero. Congratulations to Supervisor Matt Dorsey on his Campaign Kickoff!
The event, held at Underdogs Cantina on Kings Street, drew a large and enthusiastic crowd of supporters, including Board of Supervisors President Rafael Mandelman, Supervisors Alan Wong and Bilal Mahmood, District Attorney Brooke Jenkins, and Assessor-Recorder Joaquin Torres. The program opened with a strong and energizing speech from Bruce Agid, President of the Eastern Neighborhoods Democratic Club, who offered his support for Supervisor Dorsey. Mayor Daniel Lurie was also in attendance and spoke about his longstanding relationship with Supervisor Dorsey and expressed his support for his re-election campaign.
