A.R.T.: ACTION, REFLECTION, TRANSFORMATION - Adair Heitmann
When a flood destroys 50-years worth of an artist’s work, she acts first to retrieve what she can salvage, then out of necessity she becomes reflective when she surrenders to the power of transformation, in herself and in her work

WHAT'S IN A NAME?
BY ANOTHER NAME WOULD OUR ROSE SMELL AS SWEET?
Randy Burnham, Luisa Francoeur, Carolyn Gundell, Rob Herman, Sudha Sankar, Rob Zuckerman
In order for us to consider a new name, the Naming Committee will facilitate a spiritually interactive service that will create a sense of who we are, of our community in which we belong, and of our place in the world. A new name for our TUCW community is an incredibly important part of our identity. Come help us identify cultural, familial, historical and religious connections as we brainstorm new names for our beloved community.

CHILDREN'S FAITH FORMATION: SUNDAYS 10:00 AM WEST WING
Rising K - 4th grade children are invited to join us this summer in the West Wing [to the left as you enter the building] 10:00 AM-11:00 AM each Sunday, as parents and caregivers attend the service in the sanctuary.
Come have fun learning about our UU Principles, follow our adopted Sea Turtles and explore Mindfulness!
Bring your friends to church and if they have children, this is a great way to learn about Unitarian Universalism and the world.
Children of all other ages - younger than K (with their caregivers) and older than 4th grades - are always welcome to join the adults in the sanctuary and be part of our worship service.

CAN YOU HELP HELPING HANDS? FIVE CHILDREN TO SUMMER CAMP
Since January, 2020 we have been working with April Barron with her Helping Hands Outreach program: among other things we have provided 25,000 Brown Bag Lunches.
David Vita spoke with April the other day and April is now trying to raise funds to send 5 kids from the P.T. Barnum Housing Community to summer camp. She asked if we could help. So, we're asking you! Our goal is $1,500 to send 5 kids to summer camp for 5 weeks. If you can, please send a check to the church (10 Lyons Plains, Road, Westport 06880) made out to TUCW, subject line: summer camp, and mail it with c/o attention: David Vita. Thank you!
