Now that Rev. Alan Taylor has been with us for two months, he will share his thoughts on transitional ministry, ministry that helps congregations through times of change and addressing the unique challenges of the culture. This will be the first service that he will participate in remotely.

Angi, her husband, Ari, and two children, Rowan (4th grade) and Willow (1st grade) joined UU Westport in the summer of 2021. You may have seen her hanging out with the parents near the playground after service. Angi has worked with our youth/children as a facilitator in the Our Whole Lives (OWL) program and Crossing Paths program. Prior to joining UU Westport, Angi was active in religious education programs and other UU committee work at other UU congregations including Virginia Beach, Virginia; Des Moines, Iowa; and St. Paul, Minnesota. Angi spent the last 15 years practicing law, including owning and operating her own firm. Angi is excited to begin this new chapter of her life and contribute to UU Westport in a whole new way.

The Board of Trustees will be offering in person meetings for folks to chat and discuss issues that might be on their minds in small gatherings with a few Board members. These will be held on the FIRST SUNDAY of each month, before the service begins, from 9-9:45 AM.
Our next one will be Sunday, November 5th. Please join Board members in the Library to talk and share what’s on your minds. Bagels and coffee will be provided! Questions? Contact Wendy Levy or Jen Gerometta.

BOARD PROCESS: CONSIDERATION FOR MONTHLY AGENDA | |
Did you know? The Board has as its regular standing meeting the third Tuesday of each month Sept-June. The agenda for these meetings are set by the President, Luke Garvey and the agenda team of Stapley Emberling, Deb Garskof and Beth Cliff. Congregants are more than welcome to make suggestions for topics to be discussed at our Board meetings, and are invited to share their desires with any of the agenda committee anytime. That said, the agenda team meets at 5:00 PM on the first Monday of each month, so if you would like to have a matter be considered, please reach out before then. This month the team meets Monday, November 6.
