GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP BEGINS
MONDAY, DECEMBER 14, 4:00-5:00 PM
TUCW is offering an online Grief Support Group beginning Monday, December 14. The group will run for 6 consecutive Mondays from December 14th to January 18th. It is intended for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, whether recent or in the past. We ask those who sign up to attend all 6 sessions if possible.

This group is free and open to TUCW and the wider community. The series has been run before to very positive reviews: many folks have found it to be comforting and invaluable in working through very personal and intimate times. If you know someone who might benefit from this experience, please feel free to extend this invitation to them.

Registration is required and is open now until December 11. To register please contact one of the facilitators, Pat Francek, LCSW 203-893-1781 or Chuck Harrington, PhD 203-984-2324. Thank You.

UU THE VOTE GEARS UP TO SUPPORT GA SENATE RACES
UUtheVote is a long term pro-democracy movement. Our December goal is to reach underrepresented voters in Georgia for the runoff to elect two U.S. Senate seats. We've already sent hundreds of postcards, but we have more to do. Early voting starts next week for the two runoff elections on 1/5/2021. We are volunteering and donating to grassroots organizations on the ground getting out the vote:

SOUL MATTERS SHARING CIRCLES ARE THRIVING!
NEW GROUP FORMS IN JANUARY
Soul Matters Sharing Circles began forming in June and they are thriving! Brian Connelly is a member of our first Circle, and he shares this: “Listening more deeply into others’ journeys while sharing stories of my own (spiritual or otherwise) that have shaped me, provides a level of inner peace for me. I really look forward to our next session, listening to my new group of friends and sharing some reactions that touch me.”

Each Circle meets once a month for two hours on ZOOM led by a trained facilitator. They follow a structured format, with a monthly theme that allows us to deepen our connection with ourselves through connection with others. A new group will be forming in January. Contact revjohn@uuwestport.org or lindalubin@gmail.com.
