Seeking Helpful Feedback February 2 and 16
Our Intern Ministry committee will be gathering feedback during February. Margalie has been successfully invited into fellowship by the UUA and she is now in the candidating process to find her own congregation. We would like to hear your thoughts on Margalie’s sermons and presence in our church so we can share your feedback with her as she continues to grow as a minister. Look for members of the committee after Margalie’s sermons in February. Or, please feel free to email your thoughts to Kristen Leddy , chair of the committee. Feedback can be anonymous if desired by leaving it in an envelope with Diane Donahue in the church office, addressed to Kristen.
TUCW’s new Food Ministry is coming soon!

Food Ministry is designed to provide regular offering of complimentary refreshments after Sunday Services during the church year.

Breaking bread with others is a time-honored way to dissolve social barriers, overcome shyness in group situations and learn individual histories that might otherwise remain unspoken.

The result can be new friendships, shared interests and increased involvement in church life. It is our hope that this will encourage greater interaction among congregants and build deeper and wider fellowship through extended presence after worship, making Sunday at TUCW even more welcoming, convivial, and attractive for all, whether long-term or new attendees.

HEEEES Back! That’s Vance Gilbert at Voices Café
Saturday, January 25 - 8:00 PM
Vance is an eclectic folk singer who performs heartbreaking songs mixed in with a razor wit guaranteeing the audience an emotional roller coaster ride of emotions and musical styles. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram wrote that he possessed, “…the voice of an angel, the wit of a devil, and the guitar playing of a god…”

With over a dozen accomplished albums to his credit and his latest being released the day before his Voices Café appearance, Vance continues to refine his unlikely union of humor, virtuosity, and the unexpected. Whether with classic, original songwriting or ageless interpretations of covers, his is a presentation steeped in deep humanism and stunning artistry and soul, and contagious, unbridled joy!

These are simple, social, group dances meant for all ages, so don't be shy. To add to the fun, we will have pizza for everyone to enjoy together and a cake walk for dessert fun.
