Last Thursday, at the Beardsley School, new principal Tiffany Ladson Lang thanked everyone for bringing the gift of joyful reading to her school, and volunteers agreed it was the best part of their week. We also welcomed three women from the Bridgeport A.M.E. Zion Church, two of whom are going to continue as permanent classroom readers! The day would not have been possible without Anita Pfluger's tireless work organizing the schedule and providing such beautiful and meaningful books. Thank you everyone for your gift to the children of our beloved adopted school.
