ADULT FAITH FORMATION OFFERING SUNDAYS 11:15 AM
Searching for the Self Sundays, May 8, 15, 22, 11:15 in TUCW Library. Facilitated by Dayle Brownstein.
“Just be yourself.” We’ve all heard these words of wisdom countless times. But did you ever catch yourself asking “well, what exactly is “myself?”
Is the self the totality of our personality traits, our memories, our hopes and longings? Does our self exist only in relation to other selves? Are we only what we do, believe, and value? Is there some undefined essence that is the core of the self?
We will explore these ideas through questions, reflection, ideas from philosophers, and others great thinkers. And, of course, we’ll share and reflect on each other's thoughts, imaginings, and experiences. Contact: Linda Lubin

CONGRATULATIONS TO LINDA LUBIN:
OUR LEADING LIGHT AWARD RECIPIENT FOR MAY
Linda’s contributions to our Congregation, especially her commitment to enriching our Adult Faith Formation programs and the Soul Matters program, have been deeply felt. Linda not only co-leads the Starting Point program but coordinates the Soul Matters Circles. Her work has expanded the depth of our spiritual offerings and has provided all of our members, including the newest, with new opportunities for connection.
In addition, Linda’s service as a Worship Associate and her past service on COM reflect her spirit of caring and encouragement. Linda’s gentle leadership forges connections that exemplify TUCW’s mission to inspire, act and connect. For all her involvement in and commitment to TUCW, Linda truly is a Leading Light.
