Brian Connelly and Nate Pawelek
Our Brown Bag Lunch Outreach has surpassed 23,000 lunches provided since COVID began and we’re still going strong! And we do more providing clothing, diapers, books, and we do special things for holidays, such as Easter.
We are hoping to pass out 75-100 Easter baskets on Easter Sunday (April 17th). If you are able to donate Easter candy to help fill baskets, or donate a pre-filled (of your own making or store-bought) Easter basket, we are very grateful!
Donations accepted any day of the week through Saturday, April 16th. Leave them on the big table in the foyer. And on Saturday, April 16th, please consider stopping by the church to help fill our Easter baskets (from 2:00-4:00 PM). Thank you, as always, for your devoted support!

TEST OF NEW BROADCAST PLATFORM SUNDAY APRIL 17
NEW CANDLELIGHTING PROCESS WILL BE IN PLACE
As we mentioned last week, the tech team is aware of a number of issues with our live streaming and are working to remedy them.
We have run tests on a new broadcast platform which we are excited about, and will test out with all of us next Sunday, April 17. The sound and audio quality promises to be superior from what we currently have. We will not be able to chat "live," however; the broadcast will run unimpeded.
New candlelighting process. Therefore, for those who wish to light a candle, we will ask that they text or email David Vita in advance, prior to the sharing of Joys and Sorrows. He will then give these to Rev. John, who will read them aloud at the candle boat. In that way, everyone - online and in person - has an opportunity to participate in the sharing.
Then, after the service is over, online people can join a ZOOM call to continue a "virtual coffee hour" and participate in conversation, should that be of interest.
Accessing the broadcast link will be similar to ZOOM; it will be a link on our website that you then click on. Details will follow before next Sunday with all the access information. Thank you for your patience! David Vita for the Tech Team

SHARE THE PLATE WITH...THE GILLESPIE CENTER
For the past few weeks we’ve focused on Ukrainian refugees. Last Sunday and this Sunday we’re coming 4,349 miles closer to home- to the Gillespie Center just 3 miles down the road from here in Westport.
The Gillespie Center is Homes with Hope's food pantry. This is a tough time of year for the food pantry. It always sees a dip in donations after the holidays, and before its spring food drive.
This year it’s a little tougher. Rising food prices have proved a double whammy. More families are in need, while donors are also feeling the pinch. Last week the Gillespie Center put out a call for much needed food. Please click HERE to view a short video.
