Suicide Prevention

REMINDER The Safer Congregations Committee is partnering with The Hub, and Westport’s Positive Directions, by offering an interactive In-Person QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention Training, this Sunday, October 2, right after service, 11:30-2.

As some of you are aware, Paul Cohen, beloved husband to Bobbie Herman, passed away in July. Paul's obituary can be found here: (https://

Paul's memorial service will be held in our sanctuary on Saturday, October 8, 11:00 am. All are warmly invited to join Bobbie to celebrate his life, with a reception immediately following the service. 

FAMILY FEAST POTLUCK THIS SUNDAY OCTOBER 2

DIRECTLY AFTER CLASSES

All Faith Formation students and their families are invited to join together for a feast of food and conversation after classes this Sunday. We will meet near the playground.


Each family brings their own lunch. Angi will bring cookies for everyone. Bring wiffle ball, frisbee, soccer balls, etc for pickup games! Our goal is to just to have fun together. See you there!

All are always welcome to be with us - newcomers and oldtimers alike - and we know we can make a positive difference in famiies' lives. We look forward to getting to know your children better!

Nursery care is always available for babies and toddlers starting at 9:45 AM downstairs in the sanctuary building. An usher can help you get set up.

PreK-5th graders start in the worship service. After the digital Story for All, we will dismiss to our Faith Formation Exploration classes:

  • preK through 2nd grade (Chapel – Sanctuary building, downstairs) Please pick up your child after the service.
  • Grades 3-5 (Meeting House, main level). We will bring your child to you in the Sanctuary building after the service.
  • The 6-7th grade OWL and Coming of Age: Starts at 10:00 AM directly on the 3rd floor of the Meetinghouse.
  • 6th-8th graders not in OWL: For now, join us in worship in the sanctuary. Programming to follow shortly: stay tuned and feel free to reach out to Nate with your ideas.
  • High School Youth Group meets at 11:00 AM in the Youth Room in the Meeting House (lower level)
UU Meditation & Mindfulness, 9:00 AM Sundays.
