Let's lift our hearts and sing! It's been a humdinger of a year, so here's a chance for us to come together - safely - to lift our spirits and join together in traditional songs of good cheer and optimism. All ages are most welcome for this informal family time of fun and fellowship in our spacious (and newly-paved!) parking lot.
Words to carols and holiday songs will be provided; we'll use flashlights on our phones to sing Silent Night at dusk.
ZOOM will be available for those who prefer to sing from home.
ZOOM HERE. Meeting ID: 884 6001 2921 Passcode: 179400
You're welcome to just "Drop In!" but a preliminary headcount would be helpful. Contact Linda Hudson, and indicate whether you'll be in person or on ZOOM.

|
We welcome all children and youth from our community at large to join us for our Saturday activities. To find out more, please contact Nate Pawelek, our Director of Faith Formation. All activities require PPE masks.

2:00 PM at the church: Purge Your Stuff Donation Drive. View video - stay to the end - it's fun! - to find out about our work this Saturday and the Poverty Horcrux.
Children and Youth, here is an opportunity to donate your unwanted, lightly-used (or never-used) stuff to people who will always-use. The items most needed right now are hats, gloves, coats, and clothing in general. We are also accepting toys, games, children’s books, household items, and other trinkets.
|
|
|
Bring your stuff to church on Saturday, and don’t forget to make a few lunches for the John Street Bridge Lunch drive. We can decorate lunch bags as well.
|
|
|
3:00 PM: Caroling Party in the Parking Lot: Children and Youth are most encouraged to attend.
6:30 PM: Youth Group Bonfire (*behind the Meetinghouse): It will be cold, so dress yourself up like an onion with double socks. Bring a lawn chair.
Check out the Bonfire Video Invitation!

“Let the Soft Light Lead” – Kim Warman, Intern Minister
Worship Associates: Shanonda Nelson
On December 27, we explore the presence of light in our lives as we move out of a time of darkness.
"When exhaustion seeps into our bones,
may we let the soft light lead us to rest.
And when joy sneaks in and surprises us with grace,
may we stop
for just one sacred moment
and celebrate." - Rev. Scott Taylor
Our service will include an uplifting montage of our TUCW friends and family - be sure you send your picture in by Dec. 21 [email protected], subject line: LIGHT
