Cape Ann Animal Aid Pet of the Week

Jake is a 1-year-old, 55-pound hound mix, known as a resilient and unflappable guy. He excels at matching the energy and play styles of his dog friends — playing a rowdy game of tug-o-war with some and just taking a leisurely sniffy walk with others. He tends to get his bursts of energy in the early mornings and late afternoons so he’s looking for humans who can meet his needs. He enjoys a good sturdy toy and anything that squeaks is his favorite. As a member of Cape Ann Animal Aid’s Extended Stay Club, Jake’s adoption fee is reduced to help this sweet guy find a family to call his own. Visit www.capeannanimalaid.org for more information about Jake and all the other animals waiting for homes here at the Christopher Cutler Rich Animal Shelter, 4 Paws Lane in Gloucester.
