15 warrant articles are on the agenda for the Special Town Meeting this week in Rockport. Among the 15 proposed warrant articles is a measure to reorganize and renumber the numbering of the zoning bylaws, an update to the Statement of Purpose at the beginning of the bylaws, and updates to the definitions in the bylaws.

Ipswich Art Association
Ipswich may soon have a new arts group: the Ipswich Art Association. The association has an exhibit at Zumis’s on Market Street that will be be up through January 29, and organizers plan a meeting to gain members on February 26 at 2 p.m. at the EBSCO Hall on Peatfield Street. Kristina Brendel, an association director, said the the association would be open to all artists, visual and performing.

Historic Essex Cogswell Haybarn's New Home
The Essex Historical Society and Shipbuilding Museum (EHSSM) is pleased to announce the historic Essex Cogswell Haybarn has found a new home in Rockport at Woodbury Hill Farm owned by Aaron Tuffley and Betsy Lordan. The EHSSM is partnering with them to pass along the know-how and history of the structure and will help document their project. The EHSSM is gratified that the historic Essex Cogswell Haybarn has found a new home at Woodbury Hill Farm and would like to thank the Museum community for their generous support throughout this important project. American Red Cross Blood Drives
The American Red Cross urges blood donors of all types, especially platelet donors and those with type O blood , and those who have never given before to book a time to give blood or platelets now and help keep the blood supply from dropping.
It is hosting a drive in Gloucester, on Jan. 18 from 2 to 7 p.m., at the Magnolia Library & Community Center, 1 Lexington Ave. Donors can schedule an appointment to donate using the Red Cross Blood Donor App, by visiting RedCrossBlood.org or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767). Walk-ins are also welcome.
Our Lady of Good Voyage, 142 Prospect St., and the Red Cross are hosting a blood drive in the Parish Hall on Jan. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cape Ann Animal Aid Pet of the Week
Serena is 9-month-old spayed Labrador retriever mix. When she was just weeks old she was tossed out of a moving vehicle in Puerto Rico. A rescuer took her in and nursed her back to health. She will be medium sized. She was fostered with other puppies, adult dogs, and cats. She would do best in a quiet home with another confident dogs to show her the ropes and also a home that has no small children. She is part of Cape Ann Animal Aid’s foster-to-adopt program.
