Through her research into her ancestor, Martha Allen Carrier—hanged in 1692—Alice uncovers the unsettling truth that witch hunts have not truly ended. Blending fiction and non-fiction, this extensively researched book offers insights into how to prevent such injustices rather than simply serving as a cautionary tale.
