The Businesswomen’s Committee has extended the Carolyn M. O’Connor Scholarship application deadline to March 31. One scholarship of $1,500 will be awarded in early May to a woman who is returning to the workforce or is considering a career change, in an effort to better their life situation

Earlier this year, The Gloucester House opened its doors as a temporary location for the Grace Center which provides daytime shelter, meals and other support to residents in need. President Announces Steps to Promote Equitable Access to SBA Relief Programs
On Monday President Biden announced changes to SBA's coronavirus relief programs to ensure equity and help sole proprietors, effective Wednesday, February 24. The new formula used to calculate eligibility will allow sole proprietors and independent contractors to apply for a PPP loan even if they did not make a profit. SBA will also establish a 14-day, exclusive PPP loan application period for businesses and nonprofits with fewer than 20 employees. Take the Mass Cultural Council Economic
Impact Survey
As the one-year anniversary of the pandemic nears Mass Cultural Council has launched a fifth COVID impact survey for cultural organizations. The data MCC collects will be shared broadly throughout Massachusetts and directly inform their continued advocacy efforts for public investment to fund cultural sector recovery needs.
