The Cape Ann and Ipswich Chambers Merge to Create the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce
We are pleased to share with you the exciting news that the boards of directors of the Cape Ann and Ipswich Chambers of Commerce have completed the merger of our respective organizations to create the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce. This is an exciting and important step forward. Now as the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, we will be able to extend and improve the work we do promoting the region, strengthening businesses, and supporting our communities. Cape Ann Regional Grant Presents: Marketing 101 for Small Businesses

The Cape Ann Regional Grant team invites Cape Ann businesses to join us on Wednesday, August 25 from 9-10am for a workshop on enhancing your marketing strategy while enjoying a complimentary breakfast at the Castle Manor Inn, 141 Essex Ave., Gloucester. The Cape Ann Regional Grant Presents: Visual Merchandising for Your Small Business

The Cape Ann Regional Grant team invites Cape Ann businesses to join us for a visual merchandising workshop and complimentary lunch at the Castle Manor Inn, Gloucester.
Essex native Jenna Aiello, a visual and brand merchandising expert will lead this workshop and attendees can also sign up for a limited number of visual audits with Ms. Aiello. Will be held in person and on zoom.

Rocky Neck Cultural District and Harbortown Cultural District are co-hosting Gloucester's Culture Splash featuring art exhibitions, live musical performances, store extended hours, cultural events and more! CATA will be providing free trolley rides allowing folks to hop off and hop on throughout the route at specific locations. Harbor Tours is providing a water shuttle from one cultural district to the other.

Candlelight & Spiritualism Tours at Hammond Castle Museum

Guides will escort visitors through the castle’s many rooms, placing an emphasis on the Hammonds themselves and the time that they spent in their castle home. Cape Ann Museum Free Screening of Captains Courageous at the CAM Green

This August, the Cape Ann Museum is partnering with Cape Ann Community Cinema to take art outside with a free screening of Gloucester-based classic Captains Courageous (1937) at the Cape Ann Museum Green. The film will start at 7:45 pm on Saturday, August 28 and all will conclude by 9:45 pm. Attendees are invited to be on-site as early as 7:00 pm to reserve their spots. Local food truck Meat + Sweet will be selling food on-site but guests are also welcome to bring their own picnics.

Join Windhover for this can't miss performance conceived by Michael Trusnovec, former soloist with Paul Taylor Dance Company and hailed by the New York Times as “one of the world’s most luminous dancers.” Trusnovec is joined by Xin Ying, current star of the Martha Graham Dance Company, Annmaria Mazzini of Mazzini Dance Collective, Bradley Beakes of Doug Varone and Dancers, and dancer, choreographer, and filmmaker Thryn Saxon. Rockport Music, home of the Shalin Liu Performance Center, is seeking an Assistant Box Office Manager. Working with the Ticketing Operations Manager, as well as other administrative and operations staff, the Assistant Box Office Manager will help build concerts and events in Tessitura, provide a high level of courteous and informed service to all customers, manage that all policies and concert details are accurate and current for the box office, and work the concerts and events. The Assistant Box Office Manager is also responsible for troubleshooting Tessitura issues, exploring best practices for ticketing operations, as well as organizing many of the box office activities in preparation for concert events.
