Enjoy a special holiday exhibit and vintage toys from the museum's collection this week from 10am - 3pm.

From noon to 4pm each child will be presented with a new wrapped gift and a signed photo of Santa. Children may also have their photo taken with Santa.

Massachusetts Submits Initial
Vaccine Order

In anticipation of FDA approval for emergency use authorizations the Baker-Polito administration submitted the state’s initial vaccine order to the CDC on Friday. The federal government allocated Massachusetts 59,475 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for this first shipment, which is part of 300,000 doses that the CDC is expected to send to Massachusetts by the end of December. Read the December 4 press release here. Later this week, the administration will provide further details about vaccine prioritization and distribution.

FDA Advisory Committee to Meet December 17 on Moderna’s COVID-19 Vaccine Candidate

The FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) will meet on December 17 to discuss the request for emergency use authorization (EUA) of a COVID-19 vaccine from Massachusetts-based Moderna. Inc. See the FDA’s November 30 press release here
