Rockport Art Association & Museum Art Exhibition at the Chamber
Recognizing that the Cape Ann community seeks out fine art no matter the time of year, the RAA&M is experimenting with having exhibitions in the winter months through a new partnership with the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce.
RAA&M will be displaying paintings by some of Cape Ann's most celebrated and collectible deceased artists, including Aldro Hibbard, Mildred C. Jones and Kitty Parsons Recchia, for the public to both view and purchase.

Stay at Home Advisory and Early Closure Order Lifted
Effective Monday, January 25, the state’s Stay at Home Advisory for the hours of 10pm to 5am was lifted. The Mandatory Early Closure of Businesses Executive Order has also been lifted, enabling restaurants, arcades and many other businesses and activities to operate past 9:30pm. Liquor stores and other retail establishments that sell alcohol may sell alcohol past 9:30pm and adult use cannabis retailers may also sell cannabis after 9:30pm. Gatherings are now also allowed to go beyond 9:30pm, but the 25% capacity and gathering limits will remain in place until Monday, February 8. State Accelerates Phase One
Vaccine Access
On January 21, the Baker-Polito Administration announced that all residents in Phase One of the state vaccine distribution plan are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, effective immediately. Massachusetts residents now eligible include all health care workers and first responders, as well as all nursing home and congregate care residents and staff. For more details, please click here. PPP Loan Applications Now Being Accepted by all SBA Lenders
The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is now open for new borrowers and certain existing PPP borrowers. This round of the PPP continues to prioritize millions of Americans employed by small businesses by authorizing up to $284 billion toward job retention and certain other expenses and by allowing certain existing PPP borrowers to apply for a Second Draw PPP Loan. Regional Pilot Project Grant
Program Announced
The Regional Pilot Project Grant Program will promote regional recovery from the economic impacts of the 2019 novel coronavirus through partnerships. It is open to municipalities, public entities, or exempt 501(c) organizations. The goal of this pilot program is for municipalities and organizations to work together to create solutions for recovery in their specific economies. The program opened January 22 and will close on February 10. Interested parties should read the RFP and submit an application as outlined on the program page

Grants for Artists ~ Deadline February 2
Mass Cultural Council’s COVID-19 Relief Fund will award grants of $1,500 through a randomized process to individuals who have lost income derived from their work as individual artists and independent teaching artists/humanists/scientists as a direct result of COVID-19 related cancellations and closures in Massachusetts.
