In Memoriam ~ a Tribute to John Fleming
With our sincere condolences to his entire family and his many friends throughout Cape Ann, we share the news of the recent passing of John Fleming, a great advocate for Gloucester
and Cape Ann and a valued Chamber member, past board member and dedicated volunteer.
As noted in his obituary in the Gloucester Daily Times, “John was well known and respected within the Cape Ann business community, spending 46 years in banking, from bank teller to senior Vice President at the same bank, now Santander.” He was an active member of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce and a well-respected former board member and in the words of past Chamber President Mike Luster “one of our best recruiters” for Chamber member drives.
The Fleming family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in John's name to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Avenue, Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451 or online at
www2.heart.org
