The Greater Cape Ann Chamber and the Trustees of Reservations invite you to experience the grandeur of a seaside estate, its marvelously landscaped grounds, restored Grand Allée, gardens, and Casino complex. It will be a spectacular evening to mingle with your fellow greater Cape Ann business colleagues, enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres, and take in the majestic views.

In honor of our 100th Anniversary, the Chamber will be joining in Independence Day parades in Gloucester, Rockport and Manchester-by-the-Sea with 2 custom floats.

The Chamber is thrilled to be partnering with Ipswich ReCreation on Ipswich Downtown Tuesdays - the 2022 outdoor, summer, music & dance series. Ipswich Downtown Tuesdays includes great dining, live music on the brand new Take Out Terrace stage, dancing on the Riverwalk & extended store hours for shopping! Each week will feature live entertainment on the Riverwalk, making for a fun evening out for the whole family! This year, there will be a brief intermission during the music set featuring poetry readings or a comedy act.

The first act is local favorite, the Orville Giddings Band, on Tuesday, July 5 - a great way to cap of the 4th of July weekend!

Occurring on the first Thursday of the month at 9am, the Greater Cape Ann Chamber hosts Coffee & Connections, a virtual networking event. We will continue holding these via zoom so that anyone may join us from anywhere. Meet new people, expand your business connections and stay in touch with friends and colleagues.

The St. Peter's Fiesta 5K Road Race is back! Join the fun and run this historic 5K road race. This course is family friendly and runs right into the heart of Fiesta.

Falconry is the sport of hunting with a trained bird of prey. It is also the demanding art of training a predatory bird that is by nature wary of people to hunt cooperatively with a human partner. While the sport has a 4,000 - year history, its glory days were indisputably the medieval period. While this presentation centers around live birds used in falconry, it is not a flight demonstration but a history-rich look at an ancient sport. Focusing on the medieval period, it explains the characteristics of the birds of prey used, how the sport reflected the lifestyle of the time, and the historical reasons behind falconry's rise and fall.

The Don Gorvett Studio and Gallery at the historic Beacon Marine Basin in East Gloucester, MA., is showing the most recent work of Don Gorvett since his return to Gloucester after 30 years. The exhibit will be on view until Aug 1, 2022.

Celebrate the Summer Solstice at Appleton Farms at a special evening event complete with cocktails and live music. This event is intended for adults who are age 21 and over, but we understand that sometimes it’s difficult to get away without the kids, so there is a kids’ ticket price for anyone between the ages of 4 and 20. Ages 3 and under would be free.

Join Backyard Growers' Garden Educator Hailey in our first Sensory Gardening for Kids & Families workshop, this time at the Plum Cove Elementary School sensory garden, where she'll be highlighting the plants and flowers that can make up a sensory garden that provides healing and restoration.

The Sawyer Free Library in collaboration with the Gloucester Stage Company, is hosting this special event. The evening will explore some lesser-known aspects of the life of celebrated novelist Edith Wharton’s (House of Mirth, The Age of Innocence, Ethan Frome), including her passionate affair with Morton Fullerton in Paris.

Join artist Rusty Kinnunen for a weekly Saturday morning stroll around Bearskin Neck to sketch, paint and draw together! This is a free event, and no registration is necessary.
