We are thrilled to bring back and offer an action-packed Spring session of Tiger Academy including opportunities for our South School children to play, create, and learn. 

All classes will run for six weeks from 8:05 - 8:50 before school.

Classes where no materials are required will be $70 and those that do need materials will be $90.

Please make checks payable to “South School PTO” and add “Tiger Academy” to the memo line. *If your child does not have the same last name as the name on the check, be sure to put their name in the memo line as well.  Checks will need to be in by Thursday, March 2nd. 

Deadline for registration is Wednesday, March 1st. Classes with less than 8 students enrolled will be canceled.

South School Community Service is collecting food for Bread and Roses until Monday, March 6th. Bread & Roses is a soup kitchen in Lawrence, MA. 

This year the demand for the soup kitchen is greater than ever and we have been asked to donate the following specific Items:

· chicken & beef broth

· canned items (soup, fruit, vegetables, beans)

· pasta

· rice

· bottled water

· individually wrapped snacks (chips, cookies, granola bars)

There is a drop-off bin in the front lobby for the next couple of weeks. Thanks for all your help.

Science Fair

The 2023 Science Fair will be on May 3, our first post-pandemic, in person Science Fair! We're looking for Science Fair volunteers and welcome your participation at any level. Specific tasks/items we need help with include:

- T shirts

- Certificates

- Set up, clean up

- Photographer

Each year, the 5th Grade class needs the fundraising power of the WHOLE school. Please share with your family + friends so we can help these kids celebrate the rest of their days at South School. Proceeds will support 5th Grade activities such as Survivor Day, Class T-Shirts, Yearbooks, Socials and Celebration of Learning.

Community Announcements

Registration is now open for the spring 2023 season of the Andover Girls Softball League! Leagues for Pre-K through Grade 8. Games and practices mid-April to mid-June. All experience levels welcome!
