NAR offers safety webinar

The National Association of REALTORS® has created a page for reporting member safety threats. For cases in which a physical or cyber threat to members warrants national attention, the REALTOR® Safety network will deploy an alert via social media. For incidents that don't meet the criteria for a national alert, the network will inform the local association. Access the reporting page.

Volunteers needed for Cinco de Mayo event on May 4

Each year, SPAAR's Diversity Committee participates in community events to promote homeownership and real estate professionals can answer general questions about homeownership, the property market, down payment assistance or the process of buying a home.

The following opportunity is possible through SPAAR's partnership with Minnesota Housing:
Cinco de Mayo                                  Saturday, May 4
Volunteers staff these events to represent SPAAR and answer general questions about homeownership. While these events are not occasions to market yourself or your brokerage, they are a great way to greet the public and polish your presentation skills. Shifts and times vary. Free admission and parking reimbursement is provided. Contact Joe McKinley at SPAAR for details at jmckinley@spaar.com or (651) 772-6344.
Thank you from your Community Engagement Committee!
Thank you to everyone who contributed to SPAAR's Blue Star Mothers Collection Drive. Together, SPAAR members contributed more than 15 boxes of supplies for We Care Packages and raised more than $1,600 to cover shipping costs. We Care packages will be sent to members of the military serving active duty by nonprofit Blue Star Mothers of America.

The Blue Star Mothers have scheduled a packing event in June and volunteers are needed. For more information or to sign up to help pack boxes for shipment, please contact SPAAR: 651-772-6344 or spaar@spaar.com.
