Note: Many of SPAAR's classes provide Minnesota real estate continuing education. Continuing education courses must be attended in their entirety in order to receive credit for the number of approved hours (MN Statute 45.30 Subd.4a).  See full list of classes here .

Grand Old Day wants you!

SPAAR will be participating in this year's Grand Old Day Parade and we want you to join us!

Invite your family or friends for a fun and festive morning to walk in the Grand Old Day Parade as part of SPAAR from 8:30 to 11am on Sunday, June 2. We'll promote homeownership and draw attention to Fair Housing throughout the route. Sign up today!

Be part of this year's Biggest Tuesday Sales Meeting Ever!
Registration is open for this year's event "Real Estate Professionalism and Today's Market" that has been approved by the Minnesota Department of Commerce for 3 hours of real estate CE credit.
SPAAR is now accepting applications for Board positions
Consider serving on the Board of Directors for the Saint Paul Area Association of REALTORS® (SPAAR). The 2019 Nominating Committee is looking to fill three director positions for 2020. The position has a three-year term and directors are asked to make attending all Board meetings a priority.
SPAAR is also accepting applications for three officer positions: treasurer, president-elect and president.
What are benefits of serving as a director or officer of SPAAR?
As a Board Member you'll have:
  • Opportunities to both learn from and teach others
  • Direct involvement in decisions that impact the association
  • A broader professional network of members, the community and civic leaders
  • New experiences that develop professional and personal skills
  • Social opportunities that often lead to lasting friendships
All candidates must have been a member of the association for one year prior to the date of the nomination and must be a REALTOR® member in good standing with no ethics violations within the past year.

Coon Rapids REALTOR ® Forum drew a crowd

It was a full house at the Coon Rapids REALTOR ® Forum today, May 9, where members were invited to hear from city and school officials about development plans and more.
Toastmasters provides an hour of professionalism and fun!
All are welcome to SPAAR's Toastmasters club!

Toastmasters is a great way to improve your speaking skills, gain leadership experience, learn how to efficiently run a meeting from start to finish and network with others in the industry.

It's a slam dunk -- basketball tournament supports homeownership
The Gus Macker 3-on-3 basketball tournament is back in Saint Paul this summer and will support two local charities that work with or provide support to homeowners: the Minnesota Law Enforcement Memorial Association and Spare Key.
