Members share with members at Leadership Panel Discussion

SPAAR members took part in the recent Leadership Panel Discussion on April 8 where they heard from members who have pursued various association roles at the local, state and national levels. The discussion provided opportunities for members to ask questions as they determine their own paths for leadership. SPAAR hopes to hold two more Leadership Panel Discussions in 2019. If you have any questions or an interest to learn more, contact Jennifer at jkovacich@spaar.com.

April is Fair Housing Month

On April 11, 1968, President Lyndon Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act of 1968, which expanded on the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

The 1968 Act prohibited discrimination concerning the sale, rental and financing of housing based on race, religion, national origin, sex, handicap and family status.
