In early January, our presbytery‘s leadership council (
the Advisory Board
) gathered together to pray and imagine, plan, and strategize, seeking to support our 44 congregations and 4 campus ministries in their daily witness to Jesus Christ. One exercise involved answering the question:
“If you had to describe our presbytery as a piece of furniture, what would it be?”
Repeatedly, the image of “table” was shared: table as a place where we gather for companionship and support, table as place where you must commit to bringing something
to
it before taking something
from
it, table as a buffet, which lots of options for nourishment, and ultimately, table as banquet, where we join Jesus and set a feast for all who are hungry for more.
Providentially, our presbytery will be hosting a wonderful continuing education event about the Lord’s Table on March 15-16. Check out our online 2019 calendar for more details. Cost is minimal ($40), so register today as space is limited!

Donalsonville Good News
What can we say? Thank you for the kindness you displayed to us in the name of Jesus!!! When we looked outside after Hurricane Michael, we could not help but be a little heartbroken to see God's nature destroyed by such a powerful storm.
Now as we look outside, we have a new picture in our minds. We see a diverse group of God's people coming together to help restore God's beautiful creation sur-rounding our home.
Hopefully, in the future, we too can be apart of a group that shares God's love and encourages others.
Let us consider how we may spur one another in love and good deeds and encourage one another, Hebrews 10:24-25.
