Join Franciscan Sisters for Fun (and Service) on the Farm
 
The Franciscan Life Center high school FAITH group is offering a land-based experience for high school students on September 22 from 10am to 2pm. Students will have the opportunity to work with the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist in their flower and vegetable gardens, in the orchard and with the farm animals (John Lateran Center, 405 Allen Ave., Meriden).
 
In addition to the work project, there will be an explanation of the life and death of St. Francis, whose feast day is celebrated on October 4. Lunch is provided and students can earn three service hours. Please reserve a space by contacting Sister Marie Benedict Elliott, F.S.E. (smbenedict@spchs.com) or Sister Mary Mercy Lee, F.S.E. You Are Invited to Celebrate Saint Francis
The Franciscan Life Center high school FAITH group welcomes faculty, staff, high school students and their families to a celebration for the feast of St. Francis of Assisi. 
 
On October 3, the Vigil of St. Francis' feast day, the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist hold a solemn prayer service called TransitusTransitus is the celebration of St. Francis' "transition" or passing over into eternal life and the Blessings he prayed before he died. 
 
Please join us in the Chapel of St. John (271 Finch Ave, Meriden) on October 3, at 8pm for a beautiful tradition of honoring the poor and holy saint from Assisi.

We invite all High School-aged youth from parishes, schools, scouts, sports and other groups to gather as the young church for this archdiocesan signature faith event - the Catholic Youth Encounter on

Open House and Placement Exam Time
 
If you or someone you know has a prospective 6, 7, or 8th grade student, come visit us at our Open House any of the following dates at 10:00 a.m.:
At our open houses families have an opportunity to speak to current students, teachers and administration about our academic, athletic and extracurricular activity programs. Visit our campus and see for yourself all we have to offer.

Spring Break Trip to Scotland and England
