This past Sunday marked the beginning of Advent, and with it the start of our new Liturgical Year. A key theme of the readings for Sunday was to be vigilant or to keep watch - just as we might keep watch for a guest. We keep a look out for the guest's arrival, and at the same time we work diligently in preparation, knowing we are not quite ready.
In anticipation of Advent, the Juniors in Mr. Duffany's Religion classes reflected on how they should keep watch, what preparations they might need to make ready their spiritual homes to receive Christ this Christmas. And so, the Juniors wrote New Year's Resolutions which they then presented on the altar, committing to work towards those goals this Advent.
Congratulations to the following members of the football team who were recognized for their efforts as members of the All NVL Iron Division Football Team.

Each gift helps us to reach our goal of finishing our gymnasium/locker room project and to also establish a sustainable endowment fund. There's still time to give a gift! Gifts made to the Capital Campaign from now until June 30, 2019 will be matched dollar for dollar by an anonymous donor. Please consider gifting any amount, large or small - every gift counts!
