Jen is a Portfolio Manager on the Towers Watson Partners Fund, Alternative Credit Fund and a number of segregated mandates. Jen has been at Willis Towers Watson and its predecessors since 2007. Prior to moving into portfolio management she was Global Head of Alternative Credit research and Macro and Absolute Return Fund research at Willis Towers Watson, leading a multi-location team responsible for the provision of services to a global client base.
Annachiara Marcandalli
Managing Director, Endowment & Foundation Practice, Cambridge Associates
Annachiara is a Managing Director at Cambridge Associates and co-head of the Endowment & Foundation Practice in London. She joined the firm in 2000, and works with the key decision makers of a variety of institutional investors on critical strategic investment issues such as asset allocation strategy, manager selection, and investment program evaluation, her clients’ assets range from $75m to $4bn. During the last two decades, Annachiara has worked closely with several large UK and European Non Profit Institutions to help them develop their long-term investment strategy, define the roles and responsibilities of their governance structures as well as helping them invest their portfolios. She has extensive experience in working with institutions that retain large concentrations in donor stock. She formed part of a high level working group that developed the firm’s Risk Allocation Framework, which helps investors go beyond asset class label diversification to instead make choices on the basis of the role different kinds of investment play in the portfolio. Annachiara is part of Cambridge’s Mission Related Investment Group and is the lead investor for a number of institutions that are actively integrating ESG criteria into their portfolios. Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Annachiara was in the investment banking division of Lazard & Freres Italy. She also worked for Sunguard in London, specialising in risk management for complex portfolios.

Parvoleta Shtereva
PM, Partner, Head of Investment, GEMCORP
Parvoleta is responsible for the firm’s investment portfolio as well as execution and management of investments. She is also a member of the Investment Committee. Parvoleta has spent most of her career managing credit portfolios for Black River Asset Management and Goldman Sachs. She has 24 years of experience across Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Hopewell Wood
CEO, Head of Business Development, Partner, Glen Point Capital
Glen Point Capital is an EM focused fund manager that manages assets of $3bn, composed of $2.8bn in an emerging market-focused macro strategy, and $200m in an emerging market fixed income strategy. Hopewell was recruited to help launch Glen Point Capital in 2015. She is responsible for business strategy and overseeing all non-investment activities and sits on the Executive, Operating and Risk committees. She also leads business development and investor relations efforts globally. Previously, Hopewell worked at COMAC Capital LLP, a London-based global macro hedge fund manager for over 8 years where she held a similar role. Prior to that she was the Head of Marketing at The Fine Art Fund Group. Hopewell holds an MBA from the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, an MA in Art History from the Sotheby’s Institute, and a BA from Vanderbilt University.
Gergana Thiel
EMEA Head of Emerging Markets Sales for the UK and Hedge Funds, J.P. Morgan
Gergana is a Manging Director in EMEA markets sales at JPMorgan. She runs the Emerging Markets Sales Desk for the UK and Hedge Fund clients and is responsible for the distribution of EM Macro and Credit product as well as EM financing. Gergana joined JPMorgan London in 2006 as an Executive Director in sales. She started her career in 1999 as an FX Options trader at Goldman Sachs in New York. Several years later she moved to Goldman Sachs London where she traded South Africa and Hungary Bonds and Swaps prior to moving to do Emerging Markets and FX sales in 2005. She studied Economics at University of Munich and graduated with a degree in Math and Economics from Columbia University in New York. She lives in London with her husband and two children.
