Panel 1 Discussion – The costs of running a sports betting operation: A window into the true costs of running an online or brick-and-mortar sportsbook. What types of small businesses are conducive to sports betting (e.g., restaurants, sports bars, and other entertainment venues)? Experts outline some of the financial costs of operating in the sports betting world – everything from capital costs to security requirements and the impact of competitive promotions.
