The Great Compass Health Camp Out
April 17th, 2026, from 6:00-9:00pm
| | |
Compass Health is proud to present The Great Compass Health Camp Out, our newly reimagined signature fundraiser!
We warmly invite you to join us on Friday, April 17th, 2026, at Thomas Family Farm for an evening filled with nostalgic camp vibes and meaningful opportunities to support vital behavioral health care for children, youth, and families in our region.
This joyful evening brings together community partners and supporters to raise vital funds for our children, youth, and family programs across Snohomish, Skagit, Island, San Juan, and Whatcom counties. These are more than programs, but they are life-changing services that foster recovery, strengthen resilience, and bring brighter futures to local families.
Last year, our teams provided individualized mental health services to approximately 6,000 children and youth across our five-county region ranging from one-time crisis support to ongoing weekly or daily care, based on each child’s unique needs. Our clinicians deliver strength-based, culturally responsive therapeutic care tailored to the whole child. Whether through school-based support, summer camps, outpatient counseling, or intensive services, every interaction equips young people with the skills to manage challenges and build a stronger foundation for life.
This year’s event is focused on community connection and accessibility with camp games, fun food, and inclusive giving opportunities for all. It is a celebration with purpose – where guests come to connect and celebrate, invest in the future, and leave knowing they have changed a child’s story.
Keep your eye out for the official invitation coming in March.
Please note this event is 21+.
The first 50 people who purchase tickets will receive a custom coaster with The Great Compass Health Camp Out logo!

We’re excited to share that Compass Health’s Child, Youth, and Family Crisis Team (CYFCT) has a new name – and a new look!
Introducing YGo, a voluntary crisis outreach team that helps children and teens experiencing crises by meeting them where they are at, providing emergency behavioral health care to stabilize their situation, and connecting them to ongoing services.
YGo is available to any child, teen or young adult under age 20 who is located in Snohomish, Skagit, or Whatcom counties – at no cost to the youth or their family members.
| | Celebrating Black History Month | | |
During Black History Month, we honor and celebrate the achievements, resilience, and leadership of Black people and recognize the importance of equitable access to care for all. Mental illness affects 1 in 4 Americans, and due to systemic racism, and the effects of trauma and violence, Black people are disproportionately more likely to face mental health challenges and not have access to behavioral health care. Importantly, Black people have pioneered innovative and culturally competent approaches to mental health and well-being.
In recognition of Black History Month, Connie Summers, Chief People & Culture Officer at Compass Health, shares a reflection on the significance of the month, its message, and Compass Health’s mission to deliver equitable and compassionate care. You can read the full piece here.

Captain Zero: Into the Abyss II Movie Screening in Collaboration with the Northwest WA Civic Circle
Compass Health was honored to co-sponsor a community screening of Captain Zero: Into the Abyss II in collaboration with the Northwest WA Civic Circle this month.
Using bold visuals and powerful storytelling, the short film follows Xerxes Hughes, a Black teenager on a mental health journey. Framed through his therapy sessions, the story unfolds as he recounts his escapades as an amateur superhero and the pitfalls that lead to his encounter with The Depression Demon – a physical manifestation of his deep-seated insecurities.
Following the screening, the event included two 45-minute panel discussions and a Q&A with local mental health professionals, including Sarah Adams, Compass Health’s Clinical Director of Snohomish County Outpatient Services.
Compass Health was proud to support creating a meaningful space for open conversation, reflection, and connection around youth mental health.
You can watch the film for free on Cutting Edge Animation's website until February 13th.

January marked the start of the 2026 legislative session, and Compass Health is proud to help amplify the voices of our community at the legislative level. To support these efforts, we have created a webpage dedicated to sharing information on key legislative initiatives at both the state and federal levels, including Medicaid, SNAP, and funding sources.
We understand that policy changes can be complex, but their impact is deeply personal. Visit our Advocacy Page to stay informed about which legislative policies Compass Health is advocating for and ways to become involved this session.
