Your Ballard HS PTSA is made up entirely of parent/guardian volunteers who help to support our non-profit organization dedicated to the social and academic enrichment of all students and families. The PTSA collaborates with the principal, staff, students, families, athletic boosters, performing arts, BHS Foundation and community partners to support a wide variety of programs and activities.

We are actively (and urgently) recruiting for these roles: Secretary, Vice President, Advocacy Reps, Direct Appeal, DEI Reps, Family and Community Engagement, Grants, and Newsletter Chair. Learn more today.

• Fall Sports: Football, Cross Country (Boys & Girls), Golf (Boys & Girls), Girls Soccer, Girls Slowpitch Softball, Girls Swim & Dive, and Volleyball.
• June 23: Ballard Strength and Conditioning Training begins
• August 18: Registration on FinalForms Due & ASB Fees Due
• August 20: Football begins
• August 25: Fall Sports begin
• September 2: Fall Athletics Parent Meeting at BHS at 6:30 p.m.

Summer Service Learning Info

Service Learning is giving time, without pay. One of the graduation requirements for SPS is 60 hours of Service Learning. Check out the Summer Opportunities. 

Reminder! Service Learning Hours that Incoming Freshmen can claim is 15 in the summer before they start at BHS.

Salmon Dinner & Live Auction Aug. 14

The Annual Salmon Dinner Event begins at 5:30 p.m. with performances by the BHS Jazz Combo, includes a Hosted Bar, and a Shipyard Tour. Dinner will begin at

7 p.m. and then the Live Auction with Stephen Kilbreath. Join the fun!
