CLASSIC  ITALIAN CARS TAKE SPOTLIGHT AT THE NEW YORK AUTO SHOW

Robbie Wolfe to Open Exhibit

The Saratoga Automobile Museum will showcase classic Italian cars as part of the Museum's participation at the  New York International Automobile Show . The Museum will host a press conference on Thursday, April 18 at 12:30 p.m. on the North Concourse, Level 2, that will feature Museum officials and Robbie Wolfe, from the History Channel's American Pickers.

The Museum's classic car display for 2019 is entitled Forza Italia! The display pays tribute to Italy's love affair with the automobile. Italy has been known for their historically significant architecture, designs in fashion, and its countryside and coastal vistas that have provided inspiration to countless artists and musicians. The Italian automobile industry has long been one of Italy's greatest and most innovative assets. Forza Italia! features some of Italy's finest and most stunning automobiles for you to experience during the world's largest automotive show. 
 
The display will consist of the following classic Italian cars: 
 
  • 1953 Fiat 8V Berlinetta
     
  • 1961 Maserati 3500 GT 2+2
     
  • 1966 Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2
     
  • 1969 Iso Grifo
     
  • 1972 Italia Spyder Intermeccanica
     
  • 1974 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS
