Phase 3 of GCA's Road Paving Project

Farringdon Road & Charterhouse Court; Avebury Lane, Perth Court,Wallingford Lane, Kingsbridge Trail, Elgin Court & Dane Court

S.L. Williamson Company Inc. will begin paving the roads on the dates as detailed below



Wednesday, July 25 - Milling

Monday-Friday, July 29 - August 2.


Please inform your service providers to avoid accessing your street on the specified dates. If necessary, ask them to park on adjacent streets and remind them not to park on the grass.


Flaggers will be on site to assist residents with navigating in and out of the roadways. While operations may cause some delays, these will be brief, and no one will be blocked for an extended period.



PAVING SCHEDULE


WHEN: Wednesday 7/ 24 (Weather Permitting)


Milling Begins:

S.L. Williamson Company Inc. will edge mill the entire length of the roadway to maintain the original elevation after paving. Milling will proceed in the following order: pink, yellow, blue, red, and green designated areas. This approach is expected to minimize disruption for residents..

Paving Begins:

Monday 7/29 – Pink area

Devon Pines, Newbridge Road, Downing Court & Westerham Street

Tuesday 7/30 – Yellow area

Farringdon Road & Charterhouse Court

Wednesday 7/31 – Blue area

Wallingford Lane, Avebury Lane & Perth Court

Thursday  8/1 – Red area, possibly get into the Green area

Kingsbridge Trail, Elgin Court & Dane Court

Friday 8/2 – wrap up paving

Prestwick Place & Kinross Lane


Pavement Markings: Will be completed the week of August 5th.


Parking: Park in your driveway or garage. Avoid parking on the street during this time.

 

IMPORTANT PAVING INFORMATION

Before paving starts

  • Park in your garage or driveway – do not park on the street.
  • Move your vehicle(s) off the street and park on your lot.

During paving

  • One lane of roadway should be available at all times for travel.
  • Please follow the direction of the paving crew personnel when traveling in the community. 

After paving

  • You will be able to drive on the asphalt as soon as it has been rolled a few times.
  • If the street is paved when you return home, parking on the paved streets is allowed.
