SPEF is committed to Afterschool Enrichment in
South Pasadena. We offer a robust assortment of classes that supplement the school day. Students enjoy a learning in a hands-on, engaging environment without feeling like they are still in class. Each year, hundreds of elementary and middle school students attend classes ranging from visual and performing arts, sports, science and technology.
Classes will begin the end of February*. Sign up now to reserve your place in class.
*The Robotics Academy classes at MHS and SPMS start a little earlier in February.

Next Generation Coding Camp
is for you! Younger students will learn block code to write short programs. Older and returning students will learn JavaScript syntax and develop their understanding of coding concepts like variables, data types, conditionals, loops, logic flow, functions and algorithms.
Block Coding for Beginners * JavaScript
A variety of interactive and hands-on activities will be used to enhance learning. Students will also develop an understanding of computer science and its real-life applications, especially the increasing job opportunities specific to the field of computer science.

Soccer Camps are designed to develop each child's ball skills and techniques. Each day includes individual foot skills, agility, technical drills, and small-sided games.

Our curriculum will help children reach their true potential in soccer. The coaches have a lot of experience working with kids of all ages. The Full Day has more scrimmaging and game time play. Campers are placed by age and ability.

Art is a great way to communicate ideas and reveal your individuality. Each week is stand-alone so a

Join our language immersion teachers for these fun
Mandarin or Spanish Immersion camps and prevent the Summer Slide! Students will refine their skills in Mandarin or Spanish through theatre, song, dance and art as they rotate from one fun-filled activity to the next.
Enhance Vocabulary and comprehension while continuing to develop an understanding of Chinese or Latin American culture.
**Students should be currently enrolled in a Dual Immersion program or be proficient in Mandarin or Spanish. All instruction will be given in either Mandarin or Spanish.

A.C. Green Basketball Camp, and have fun playing basketball! This camp challenges players in all aspects of the game on the court, as well as off the court through participation in leadership and character development.

This camp will help students learn and apply the basics of shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding and defense to equip players with the necessary skills to advance to their next level. Students will be placed by age and experience.

SPEF'S
Summer Dance Intensive is a week full of dance, music, and making new friends! In this camp we will explore the joy of movement plus improve balance, build self-esteem, and fitness while having fun!
Modern * Ballet * Jazz * Hip Hop * Tap
Students will learn warm up --exercises, and get to try different styles of dance. Students will learn dance routines that help develop focus and give students practice following directions. This camp is a positive introduction to dance in a non-competitive environment. No previous experience necessary to enroll.

Improve hand-eye coordination, learn court etiquette and build confidence in this fun camp. Students may bring their own racquet, or can borrow one if they do not have their own. Students will be placed by age and experience.
