Baby Costume Crawl

Show off your littlest one's costume! With our costumes and treat bags, we will gather in the library's meeting room to go on a wandering adventure through the children's room. Parents will receive treats instead of their children. The event will end at 10:45AM. 

  Toddler Costume Parade
Tues. Oct. 29 @ 11:00AM
Ages 2-5

Show off your little one's costume in the most adorable event of the Halloween season! With our costumes and treat bags, we will gather in the Children's Room to go on a Toddler Costume Parade inside the library, visiting each room and collecting treats from the library staff. Lining up begins at 11:15AM. The parade will last for fifteen minutes and end in a storytime, craft, and dance party in the meeting room. No registration required.

Students who register for this activity on Tuesdays through Thursdays may use the Children's Room to complete their homework in a quiet space. Drop-in spaces will be available, but registered students will have priority seating. This is not an after-school caretaking service and the library is not responsible for any participant's actions. 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

The concept is simple,

Sign up at the Children's Reference Desk. 
Keep a log of each book you read with your baby, toddler, or preschooler. Earn prizes for every 25 books read and a free book for every 100 books!

MUSEUM PASSES!
Sponsored by the Friends of the Sayreville Public Library.

The Sayreville Public Library circulates museum passes to
Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton,
the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum in NYC, and 
the Battleship New Jersey in Camden.

 Pass policies
Passes will be checked out for 2 days (example: check a pass out on Monday and it will be due back on Wednesday). 
 Reservations may be made up to 2 months in advance by speaking with a reference librarian.
