Enjoy Musical Thursdays at the Library

10:30 - 11 a.m. in May
Best for ages 0-6, but all ages welcome.

Miss Annette is back, May 5, with her guitar, shaky eggs, rhythm sticks, scarves, and new instruments! Have a magical, musical morning filled with song, rhythm, movement, and early music theory on the first Thursday of every month.
Join Miss Harta from Sedona Wellness Drumming on May 12 and May 26. Children and their parents will explore percussion and play along with rhythm tools like drums, shakers, rattles, and more!

Miss Gioia, from Precious Stones Preschool, will sing and play her ukulele for music time May 19. Miss Gioia sings songs that support literacy and learning fun!
Calling all Chess Players

Dr. B shares his expertise with children every Thursday from 4 - 5:30 p.m. During Thursday chess, local kids can play each other and take on Dr. B’s challenges to improve skills.

Dr. B started playing chess when he was 6 years old with his grandfather and has been helping Sedona kids play for four years at the Library. Dr. B is looking for players who want to learn how to play better and participate in scholastic chess. He would love to host a local chess team for tournaments. Most of all, he is looking for a kid who can beat him! Are you the next Bobby Fisher?
