Hello families,
The season of gratitude and thanksgiving is upon us. Indeed, gratitude is always in season, but the holiday of Thanksgiving prompts us to pause and focus on our many blessings with a grateful heart. There is always something to be grateful for, and the attitude of gratitude helps us all see how very fortunate and blessed we are. I know I have begun to count my blessings.
~ Thank you to our fabulous SPN teachers for devoting their professional lives to guiding and nurturing the lives of our students.
~ Thank you to our staff for supporting all areas of school life that contribute to the high functioning programs, events, and daily activities that make our school so special.
~ Thank you to the parents of our students, and the families who love and care for each other as well as support school events and programs as volunteers (i.e. Book Fair, Athletics, PTG, School Advisory Board, Auction committee, Lunch Servers, Art Docents, Room Parents, etc.).
~ Thank you to Fr. Joseph and Fr. Joel and the St. Philip Neri-St. Albert the Great Parish who guide us in our spiritual formation and devotion to the Gospel message.
~ Thank you to our wonderful students for while we work to educate and nurture them, they provide us with valuable lessons and memorable experiences that enrich our lives.
But most of all, regardless of everything else going on around me, I am grateful for my faith in God and my relationship with Christ because God is always with me and Christ is my steadfast companion. May your Thanksgiving holidays be even more joyful as you count your blessings, knowing that you are abundant with God’s love and generosity.
Warmly,
Julie Thomas
