Reconciliation: This week, Father Joseph and Father Joel continued to offer the sacrament of Reconciliation. The garden has proved to be a truly lovely location for this experience.

SPN Night at the Movies: Thank you PTG for an evening full of community and connection! The positive energy bouncing around that night was contagious. A new family sent an email to me about how blessed they feel being surrounded by so many good people. Go Spartans!

Graduation: Congratulations to our 8th grade class! 100% of our 8th graders were accepted into their high school of choice.

Alameda County School Reopening Guidance: As you may have heard, and can see from Version 31 of the Guidance Updates (page 16), the CDC and Alameda County Department of Public Health have updated the distancing requirement between students. The new guidance recommends maintaining a minimum of 3 feet distance between student chairs. Previously, the recommendation was 6 feet. We are looking into how this update might affect our current cohort sizes.

PTG Virtual Tk- 8 Engineering Night: Mark your calendars for a fun filled night sponsored by our PTG. On Wednesday, April 21st from 4-7p.m. mentors from the community will work with Tk - 8th graders to delve into the study of architecture and engineering. Kids in each grade level will be clustered in small groups to work on their creations. Throughout the event, architects and structural engineers will be interviewed and will read a children's story about engineers in the field. Please click here for important information on what you need to do to register and prepare for the event.

2nd Grade Food Bank Drive: Money and/or food donations are being collected in the front lobby between March 15th and March 31st to help support the Alameda Food Bank. Please see this flier for details around food donations. Thank you for helping our neighbors in need!

2021-22 School Calendar: We will publish our 2021-22 school calendar once it is available. The Diocese needs to set their calendar first, and then we can go ahead and finalize our school calendar. We do know that the first day of school will be sometime in the week of August 23rd. We will include the calendar in our newsletter as soon as we can!
