Dear SPN Families,
Welcome back from Easter break. Thank you for helping us to return to school safely by sending your students’ COVID test results to Mr. Carter before school on Monday. We look ahead to these final weeks of school and the many events to come in May and June. Our collective vigilance will hopefully allow us to continue to gather in-person and in safety.
First, please join us tonight for the S.T.E.A.M. Event in O’Brien Hall sponsored by our PTG. As one of our first in-person events, we are excited to have students and parents gather to enjoy engaging activities that are fun and educational.
Speaking of fun, the Fun Run had its big kick off yesterday! You should have received the Fun Run donation link for your student via email from the Fun Run staff. See the flyer below for details. The Fun Run itself is on Tuesday, May 10th. Go Spartans!
Another in-person event coming up is our Celebration of the Arts (5:30-6:30 p.m.) and Spring Concert, “A Song for Peace,” (7:00-8:00 p.m.) which will take place on Thursday, May 12. On that same evening, we also want to invite all of our families into the classrooms to see the marvelous work that our students have produced during the year. This impromptu Open House will coincide with Celebration of the Arts from 5:30-6:30 p.m. This is a great time to check out your students’ classrooms and also visit the grade levels ahead to see what’s to come. At 6:30p.m. students return to their classrooms and parents may find seats in the church to prepare for the concert that will begin at 7:00 p.m. We are so happy to welcome everyone back into the school!
Keep checking the newsletter and calendar for updates and information on additional end of the year events. You won’t want to miss out on these opportunities to celebrate your students and their many accomplishments.
Warmly,
Julie Thomas
Principal
