Happy May! Although SPN celebrates teacher appreciation during our Catholic Schools Week, nationally this week is teacher appreciation week! We can never thank our teachers too much for the dedication, commitment and love they provide our students. Please reach out to your teachers this week with a note or email of gratitude for all they do. Happy Mother’s Day to all our mothers this weekend, as well. Our mothers are our life-long teachers!

First Communion: We congratulate our 2nd grade students who experienced the sacrament of Holy First Communion on Saturday. It was a special event and we were blessed to be able to be in the church together.
Fun Run: Thank you for all your support with our Fun Run! We are at 50% of our fundraising goal. The students are having fun with Fun & Fit challenges. Get inspired by this video of our second graders warming up for the big event! (Guaranteed to make you smile!)The actual Fun Run will be on Tuesday, May 11th.
Registration: The registration process for the 2021-2022 school year ended yesterday. Please contact the office as soon as possible if you did not register your child as we are beginning to contact families on the wait lists.
Parent Education - Speaker Series: We are so grateful to our wonderful panelists who shared their knowledge on the topic: Resiliency in the Time of COVID. You can access the webinar and slides here. Student Fundraiser to address COVID Crisis in India: SPN 6th grader, Tej Panchal, and his brother Aryan, an SPN alum, have organized a fundraising event to support the current crisis in India. You can find information on the fundraiser here.
Virtual Talent Show 2021! All prospective performers must record and turn in their performance video no later than Friday, May 7th to Mrs. Foster (gfoster@csdo.org). Performance videos must be no longer than 3 minutes and of appropriate content. Make sure to introduce yourself with your name and grade at the beginning of your video.

Book Drive for SPN Summer Reading! Donate your books to the Saint Philip Neri School Book Drive. We will be collecting gently used donations between April 12th - May 21st so students can select books to take home for Summer reading. Books will be accepted for Preschool-8th grade levels.
