Principal's Message

Dear Families,

I hope you celebrated a beautiful Mother’s Day on Sunday. I was blessed to be with my own mother and my daughters.

Fun Run: I am once again deeply touched by our amazing community! Today's Fun Run was super fun! The students, teachers and staff ran, walked, danced and sang. It was such a light, easy feeling to be enjoying ourselves outside together. Thank you for participating! We reached our goal!

Mrs. Murray started her day running with the preschoolers!

School Wide Mural Project: Our amazing art docents - Raven, Angie and Shannon - have been working since September on a school wide mural project. From reading to the classes via zoom about murals to volunteering countless hours in prep and implementation - these amazing volunteers have made a priceless contribution to our community. United under the inspirational quote from Nelson Mandela, this project is rooted in our mission and how we are called to make a better world. Watch as the weeks progress and the mural grows.

Sprit Day May 14th: Be sure to wear Star Wars free dress on Friday the Fourteenth! "Luke" around for some spaced out Spartans!

SPN Spring Concert "event video" on Youtube this Thursday! Mr. Q and his students have been preparing a Spring Concert which will air this Thursday at 7p.m. You are invited to join your SPN community to watch the "Concert" by tuning in at 7p.m. using a link that will be sent out to families this Thursday. You may use the link at any time, but tune in at 7p.m. to have the almost "live" experience.

State of the School Address: Please mark your calendar for the 2020-2021 State of the School zoom event to be held on May 25th at 7:00p.m.. The principal will review the past year in terms of community, COVID response, safety, finance, academics and goals for the upcoming school year. Please register here for this event.

Book Drive Ends this Week: We've had such an enthusiastic response to our call for book donations that we can end our drive this Friday. Thank you to all who contributed to improve the options for our students' summer reads!

It has been almost a year since Fr. Joseph joined our parish but the current pandemic has prevented us from planning this celebration earlier. We are grateful for this opportunity now and hope that you can join us in prayer, whether at home or in-person. Rev. Mario Rizzo, Parochial Administrator of St. Joseph Basilica, will be presiding the Installation.
