Halloween - Friday, October 30th 11:30am - 12pm: How strange it will be not to gather as a school, in costumes, to parade around the block for Halloween with our hospitality coffee from PTG! My first year at SPN, the 5th grade class thought it would be fun to have a dry ice machine in their classroom for their Halloween party. Needless to say the fire alarms went off, the fire department had to come, everyone was evacuated, the Superintendent was visiting AND it was raining. Covid Halloween will be even stranger than that experience! Instead of our traditional school parade, you are invited to participate in this year’s SPN Halloween Wave Parade. Get in your Halloween costumes, decorate your car and come honk and wave a spooky hello to the SPN staff! SLC will also be present to provide each student with a Halloween goodie bag. We can’t wait to see you!
First PTG Virtual STEAM event coming up!: We are excited to announce that the PTG has revamped the fall family math night and mini maker fair. In November, February, March and April, members from the STEAM TEAM will guide live science and engineering demonstrations on zoom with your children! Their first event will be on Wednesday November 4th - please see information below for details on how your students can participate.
Abundant blessings,
Jessica Murray
