YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THE MSG PLAY Sunday at 6 p.m. at TDSA. This is a sneak peek of pics minus sound and costumes!
Kindergarteners are introduced to the letter "V" with a memorable song and movement to help them develop a multitude of skills.
It's a lively discussion in Rabbi Cohen's 3rd grade class as he shares with his students inside info about Yaakov's all night wrestling match.
4th graders were discussing equal groups and word problems. The nicest part is seeing one student celebrate the success of another!
Mazel tov to the 5th graders and their morah, Mrs. Ruthy Friedman on their completion of parshas Beshalach. The girls celebrated with the middle school girls with dance & song.
Rabbi Rubin's woodshop is bussing as the TDSA students begin the process of making their menorahs. This project requires planning, patience, & careful listening.
5th Graders Mastering
Hebrew Grammar
The fifth graders are gaining knowledge and confidence in their mastery of Hebrew grammar using Rabbi Rubin's innovative computer program, which helps the students identify prefixes and suffixes of words used in the Chumash..
Dear TDSA Parents,
I know it snuck up on us but believe it or not, Chanukah is around the corner! Chanukah, the holiday of gratitude, is the perfect time to take a moment and show appreciation to the TDSA faculty and staff for all that they do for our children.
Every year, the PTA collects funds from the parent body to provide a monetary Chanukah gift to the entire TDSA staff.
This year, unfortunately, we do not have a matching donor as we have had in years past so every dollar counts! PTA's suggested donation is $25 - $35 for K - 4 students and $36 - $45 for Middle School students. This contribution is per child, not per teacher, and will cover all of your children's teachers, assistants, specialty teachers, and administration. The names of participating families will be included in the card to the teachers. Of course, a gift of any amount is welcome. We strive for 100% participation!
Our dedicated teachers work tirelessly to educate and nurture our children. Together, we can bring some extra light to their Chanukah. Please give and give generously.
Please send cash or checks, made payable to TDSA-PTA, to the front office by Thursday, December 7th. You can also click here to use PayPal: (or use the email address pta@torahday.org in paypal).
For Venmo or Zelle payment options or for any other questions please contact me at pta@torahday.org or 404-661-7114.
Wishing you and your family a Happy Chanukah!
Sari Joel
TDSA-PTA President
