SEPTEMBER CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

Dear Friends,

Welcome to our SPOTLIGHT ON SEPTEMBER CLASSES & CAMPS!

Is back to school season making you nostalgic for the classroom? That first hint of fall in the air is the perfect reminder to enroll in a class or workshop to learn a new skill or improve on an ongoing creative passion. With new offerings and returning favorites, there's a class for everyone to enjoy.

Camps are finishing up for the summer, but the creative fun for kids continues in the fall and winter! Check out children's classes & workshops that provide kids with the opportunity to spark their creativity and develop their artistic skills in a fun, non-competitive environment. Plus, you and your child can enjoy an arts activity together when you enroll in a Parent/Child workshop or class! See "CLASSES FOR KIDS" and "CLASSES FOR PARENT & CHILD" below for some highlights.

We're thrilled to welcome a new crop 🌽 🍂 of Glen Echo Park Instructors this September:

• Independent Artist: Devorah Simpson - Paint, Plant & Grow: Parent & Child Garden Art Workshop (Ages 5-10) ($40 per pair! Offered on three separate dates: Sep 28, Sep 29, and Sep 30)
• The Puppet Co.: Katie Whelan - Stop Motion Animation (Ages 7-12) and Stop Motion Animation (Ages 13-17)
• The Yellow Barn Studio: Dereje Weldegeorgis - Painting Fundamentals (and more classes!), Alexey Zoob - Drawing the Model (and more classes!), and Jin Chung - Portrait Drawing
