Chozen was a spectacular hit. Written and produced by TDSA alum Rachelle Merlis Freedman and her husband Yacov. The theme of this production included teamwork, kindness and community.
The Zos Chanukah assembly was the finale to a fabulous week of celebration! The teachers performed a hilarious play for the K-4 students and a middle school boy showed off his incredible juggling talent!
Chanukah ruach echoed throughout the TDSA building! The YOY boys (our alums!) came to dance and sing with their younger counterparts!
Kindergarten through fourth graders were treated to tons of dreidel playing fun! Please enjoy the boys' pictures here and the girls' picture here!
Kindergarteners presented their Chanukah Comes Alive program to proud parents, grandparents, and other special guests. These young students exuded confidence and spunk!
In the 5th grade boys science lab, the objectives are to develop skills measuring chemicals with a cylinder, use the metric system, practice safety procedures, and test precision.
Menorahs were created using a vast array of on-hand supplies by TDSA's creative and handy students! Some of the menorahs were the tallest, the most colorful, the sturdiest, and most out-of-the-box designs! All made in TDSA's STEAM classes.
Several math classes were dedicated to making donuts. There's a lot of math in baking! Plus, lots of fun!

Thank you to Mr. Steve Gilmer, Mrs. Helene Wallerstein, Mr. and Mrs. Mark and Marsha Strazynski, and Mr. Marc Lewyn for sharing your unique experiences as children of survivors with TDSA's 8th grades. The students are studying WWII. Mr. Gilmer shared with the students that, "Jewish children are very precious. They are the future." Truer words could not have been spoken.

Please let us know of any milestone occasions
to celebrate and share!
