In Humanities, the 7th graders are reading Lines of Courage, and are focusing on character analysis. This book is about five young people during WWI.
Learning to write the letters and form them into words is a huge accomplishment for the kindergarten students. You can see how pleased this student is with her achievement.
In SEL classes, students are learning how to channel their feelings into positive actions that either spread good feelings or keep negative feelings at bay. More to come!
Students who met their specific grade's reading challenge over winter break were rewarded with choosing a book from TDSA's Bookworm Vending Machine!
The lower school students seem to know that the gorgeous weather is fleeting! They are climbing, zip-lining, and playing with each other during the brief sneak peek of spring.
In STEAM, students are learning the role of wind for indicating weahter changes and in predicting storms. They will be using their breeze buddies to monitor the local weather.
